Where is City Hall located?
405 N. Broadway, Goodhue.
What day is garbage pickup?
Garbage and recycling are picked up every Thursday morning. Please have both containers to the street by 7:00 am.
The following days are designated holidays on which the services will not be provided: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. If one of these designated holiday falls on or before a regularly scheduled service day, the services will be performed on the next day.
Building Permit Info
Permits are needed for just about anything that involves the house structure; including re-roofing & decks. Call City Hall for information or see our website page for it.

How often are utilities billed?
Water, Sewer and garbage are billed monthly.
The Goodhue Gas Commission, which bills seperately from the city, also bills monthly.
Do you have a compost site?
We have a compost site located on Broadway St. Acceptable items are - branches, leaves, logs and any wood without nails, screws, etc. What is NOT allowed is building materials of any type, finished wood products, treated lumber, shingles, plastic, metal or garbage.
What are City Hall Hours?
Monday - Friday - 7:00 am - 4:00. There are, however, occassional times when city hall needs to be closed.
