On the last Waste Management residential garbage pickup day (August 27th), Waste Management will take both the garbage and recycling bins. Please keep both bins out all day so they can be picked up and not be missed.
There will be LRS garbage cans delivered in bulk to Goodhue and stored in anticipation of the switch. Residents do not need to take them from here. They will be delivered. LRS disposal will begin delivering residential garbage and recycling cans to you the week of the 24th of August and will be done by Friday, August 28th.
Residential Accounts - LRS service will begin residential pickup service on WEDNESDAY, September 2nd. They will be coming into town twice, so keep your bins out all day so both will be emptied. LRS will start with trash and recycling will be emptied after they dump trash in Red Wing. It may take until the afternoon for the 2nd trip to town. Have both cans to the curb by 7:00 am.
Commercial Accounts – LRS will service commercial accounts on Fridays and with those requiring twice per week service, the second service will be on Tuesdays. Please keep dumpsters from being obstructed to ensure service.
