NOTICE OF COUNCIL VACANCY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Goodhue has extended accepting applications from Goodhue residents interested in an appointment to fill a City Council seat until the term expires December 31, 2026. Meetings are held on the 2^nd & 4^th Wednesday at 6:00 pm.

The Council may appoint any individual who is eligible for election to the office of City Council.  To be eligible, a person must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of the City and at least 21 years old.  Interested candidates will be required to fill out an application form and submit by December 5, 2025 and attend the council meeting on December 10th, in which council appointment will be made.

FYI - Heritage Park bathrooms have been closed for the winter.  See ya next spring!

Due to the holidays in November and December, there will be only one meeting held in each of these months.  As a result, the 1^st meetings on November 12 and December 10 will be converted from Work Sessions to Regular Meetings.  Work Sessions, will resume their normal schedule in 2026.
